Back story - There's always a girl who gets pregnant really young & has to be home schooled from then on. In fourth year (9th grade)  it was Sabrina Gibson. She was one of my closest friends. I remember the day she told us she was having a baby like it was yesterday. We were on a school trip to The Giants Causeway =)

The child, a girl she named Chloe is now nineteen & has recently been hired by my hairdresser as a junior in her salon.


So off I went this morning to get my long overdue cut & blow-dry.
& an hour later I glided out of the chair feeling like a million dollars.

People complimented me, declaring how they wished their hair was as long as mine, or as shiny as mine, or simply that it was mine. 
I'm not going to insult your intelligence by pretending that I was unaffected. 

Then along came Chloe & said "Your hair really is beautiful Ma'am"

. . .Wait!

. . .What?

I'm 32!

Now there's a way to suck the happy out of a moment! Lol!
